Striking, Retreating, Then striking again. Hate, Hunger, exhilaration. One lump of emotion. And then… pain. Crimson colors paint the ground, The air flowing with life’s essence. Time slows, then stops. In that moment, The moment before death, Eternal rest, sleep, All was made clear. Memory flashes, and the brutal, final realization, That life is at an end. The taste of defeat, That horrid, sour taste, Forever lingering. The last feelings still clung on, Attached and imprinted on the very soul that gave life.

"Don't do it! Don't do it!" cried the security guard behind him. God said nothing, climbing onto the raised edge of the building. Five storeys below, people were beginning to take notice.

He turned and faced the security guard, who stopped walking and gazed upon the face of God. He'd been crying.
